a phallic expression

​      “A Phallic Expression” is an exhibit that focuses on circumcision as a violation of human rights. For many years, routine infant circumcision was the norm in the United States, but men should be able to make their own decisions about circumcision. Many studies have discredited the removal of the foreskin as a necessary method of hygiene; other research has proven that the foreskin contains more nerve endings than other areas of the penis, leading to a decrease in sensitivity and pleasure for circumcised men. Most people correctly view female circumcision as an inhumane practice. Now, we should bring awareness to male circumcision and place it in the same category, which is a violation of human rights and bodily integrity.
